Workshop
Theatre in Public Space
The Street Theatre, besides being a form of cultural dynamization of the public space, also leads to a change in urban social rules, promoting interaction with the public, the citizen in their daily lives.
This workshop promotes creativity, expressiveness and the opportunity to improve communication and social integration skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team. Attendees will learn the art of creating a wordless narrative form and how to develop character through gestures and body language.
The circus technique of walking on stilts requires physical and mental strength (concentration) in search for the moment of equilibrium. Under the artisitic direction of Teatro Só, participants will develop a piece which will be performed twice to conclude and highlight this workshop.
