PROGRAM ODEMIRA

Teatro Só seeks to create new materialities and different possibilities for artistic practices in Odemira, in the Southwest of Portugal, a region where it has been developing activities since 2020. We want to expand the potential for transforming the ‘places’ the project occupies, in their physical and symbolic dimensions, as well as in the construction of individual and collective memories.

Through various actions in this region, we seek to create different constellations and trajectories for the utopian experience of ‘place’, in its multiple dimensions. Always with the aim of understanding and questioning where the boundaries lie between the visible and the invisible of the collective experiences we propose to carry out.

In this context of intervention, we present a program that comprises a set of artistic proposals in the fields of programming, mediation strategies, and training.
